Diversified:
The diversified technique is taught at all chiropractic colleges. It addresses biomechanical relations to the segmental alteration (how regions of the body act together) as it relates to subluxation (fixation/dysfunction of a single spinal segment or joint). Diversified adjusting uses specific lines of drive with a manual thrust to correct the mechanical distortion. It’s a functional adjustment style that can be used with the patient seated, lying on their back, or laying face down. Diversified adjusting also incorporates specific extremity adjustments (i.e. elbows, knees, shoulder, wrist, and ankles).
