Lymes Disease Testing:

If you have contacted us about Lyme’s testing, you have heard about the controversy that is brewing about testing standards. At present time, the CDC (Center for Disease Control) standards are being opposed by some groups of health care professions.  These are the standards used in many hospitals and clinics around the country. These health care professionals that oppose the CDC’s standards are following “The Best Practice Guidelines for treatment and detection of Lyme’s Disease”. This group uses tick specific labs to detect the presence of the infection. Our clinic uses Igenex Labs, which gives a more accurate diagnosis, and therefore, more accurate treatment. If you are diagnosed with Lyme’s disease, we will refer/direct you to doctors trained specifically in the treatment of Lyme’s disease that follow the Best Practices Guidelines.
